We’re a locally owned Wellington business on a mission to make small living an affordable and quality alternative to renovating, building or moving. Our New Zealand made portable cabins are built with the very best materials, extra comfortable and able to go almost anywhere. VISION & MISSION
Everyone deserves a warm, dry, comfortable place to live. But that’s not always easy or affordable. Many of us are faced with the need for extra space to work, live or play – a place for you and your family to spread out to, work in, retreat to or just stay for a while. We believe where there’s a will there’s a way. So we started Pencarrow Cabins to give people an affordable way to create healthy, happy living spaces that don’t compromise on quality or style.
OUR STORY
A background working in social housing here in New Zealand and in the United Kingdom led us to ask ourselves “Surely there’s a way to do things differently? To respond to people’s changing needs for housing in a way that’s faster, less stressful, more flexible, and most importantly cheaper.” There was. The solution was offering quality accommodation that was portable, affordable and comfortable. That’s Pencarrow Cabins.

We loved our Pencarrow cabin. It was warm and really well built. Fiona was awesome to work with and the communication was excellent. The delivery and pick up of the cabin was very straight forward would 100% recommend.
We had our cabin for 2 years and on March the 1st it was picked up and sent back home to Pencarrow Cabins. It was the best cabin we’ve ever been in and I’m so grateful we chose Pencarrow Cabins. Me and a friend rented two of the Pencarrow Cabins and were absolutely blown away by both the quality and the service of the company, the cabins were cosy warm during the winter months (a rare for most students so felt very lucky) and fiona and her husband was a sweetheart to us throughout the entire year! The installation and removal of the cabins were a breeze and very professional. But most of all I loved the way my room looked! So clean and Modern! Could not reccomend enough and I am very sad to have had to give them up when moving this year, they will be missed
What a beautiful cabin! It’s better than I had hoped for and certainly is the high quality that Pencarrow’s adverts claim. Incredibly patient and skillful delivery through our narrow tree-lined driveway – we couldn’t be happier.
Have used a cabin since January as a work space for my massage business while we had major building renovations going on. Excellent unit – warm, dry, pretty sound proof too! A beautiful space that look very professional as work spaces. Fiona was super easy to deal with and I was fortunate to get a cabin when i needed it. She was very helpful and did a great set up. Highly recommend and would use again.
